Pure Abilities Recreational Therapists will be attending the Great Lakes Recreational Therapy Student Conference by Eastern Michigan Universities Recreational Therapy program. On April 5-7, 2024 we will be co-hosting a student-led conference at the Bradford Woods Outdoors Center in Martinsville, Indiana. During this event, we will host over 100 students from over 10 colleges nationwide. Guest speakers will provide demonstrations to educate future Recreational Therapists about various topics related to their careers. Adaptive technology, adventure therapy, and career development will all receive attention at the conference, allowing students to explore the vast possibilities available to them in the field and thereby enabling them to become confident practitioners after graduation.

Pure Abilities will have a booth and will be talking about our therapeutic recreation internship program and available recreational therapy jobs.
