Join Pure Abilities recreational therapists, behavior consultants and music therapists for this year's Bridge of Hope Gala! The Bridge of Hope Gala is a multi-faceted prom event that is designed specifically for individuals who have disabilities ages 14 and older. The Gala is a formal celebration of diversity as uniqueness is not only valued, but recognized as one of God's blessings. The event far surpasses a typical prom as it is a uniting of the community in an act of fellowship that truly displays kindness in meaningful, real and memorable ways. Last year we hosted 168 guests and 291 volunteers! We are anticipating similar numbers this year! Don't miss your chance to be a part of this premier ministry opportunity in our community. Anyone age 14 or older is eligible to volunteer (must be at least 16 to serve as a 1:1 buddy for a guest). No background experience is needed. We have opportunities to serve in a variety of areas: welcome team, craft room, food service, clean up, karaoke, hair & makeup and much, much more! The Bridge of Hope Gala will be held on April 6th, 2024 at Hope Missionary Church from noon-4:00pm. Please follow the link to register as a guest or a volunteer, and contact Angie Sheets with any questions!
