to be a Plunger all you have to do is register, raise a minimum of $75 in pledges, and show up at Camp Red Cedar on February 8. You’ll then have the opportunity to walk, wade, belly flop—or PLUNGE!—into the ice-cold lake water.
After the Plunge participants and spectators are invited to join the After Splash Bash to enjoy food and beverages, and socialize.
Special Olympics allows people of all ages with intellectual disabilities to live active lives through socializing, exercising, and friendly competition. The impact this organization has on the lives of not only the athletes, but also the parents, coaches, and volunteers is immeasurable.
We are looking for committee volunteers, plungers, and donations, so please contact Jake Pickett, Fort Wayne Plunge Co-Chair, at jake.s.pickett@gmail.com or 260-402-9633 for more information or to get involved.
