Josh Watts, MA, Psychology
Josh Watts is a dedicated Behavioral Consultant and passionate mental health advocate with a strong focus on trauma-informed care and suicide prevention. He holds a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University. Josh is also a Certified Life Coach, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Emergency Chaplain, and Instructor in Suicide Prevention and Awareness.
With specialized training in crisis intervention, emotional regulation, grief support, and leadership development, Josh offers compassionate, solution-focused support to individuals and families. His work addresses behavioral challenges, trauma, burnout, and emotional distress with empathy and practical tools for healing. Josh’s career began in the fire service, where he served for 26 years as a firefighter, EMT, and ultimately Fire Chief. These frontline experiences shaped his understanding of the psychological impact of crisis and inspired his commitment to supporting others—especially those who serve.
Today, Josh continues to be a strong voice for mental health and suicide prevention, driven by both professional expertise and personal conviction. His work is guided by the belief that healing, growth, and resilience are possible for everyone.
Outside of his professional life, Josh is a devoted husband—married since 2004—and proud father of five. His life experiences, faith, and service-driven mindset shape his commitment to walking alongside others with empathy, authenticity, and unwavering support.
